Terms of Use

PudheKai provides digital career discovery and guidance tools for students, including online assessments, AI-assisted career recommendations, PDF reports, and (for eligible premium users) features such as Job Explorer and an AI Career Mentor.

The Platform does not sell physical products. There is no shipping, delivery, or return of goods. Recommendations and reports are educational guidance only — not professional counselling, medical advice, admissions guarantees, or employment guarantees.

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential.
• If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and consent to your use of the Platform.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

We offer a free tier with limited assessments and recommendations, and a paid premium subscription with additional assessments and features as described on the Platform at the time of purchase. Subscription duration (for example, 3 months free access or 1-year premium access) is as stated at checkout.

We may modify features, pricing, or availability prospectively. Changes will not reduce access already paid for during an active premium period, except where required by law or for security/abuse reasons.

Premium fees for digital services are accepted and collected under the name PUDHEKAI MENTORS (Shop Act ID: 06179982603), via third-party payment gateways (currently Razorpay). Your payment statement / receipt may show this entity name. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise. Taxes, if applicable, will be indicated at checkout.

Cancellation

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Cancelling further use does not automatically entitle you to a refund for an unused portion of a paid period, except as below or required by applicable law.

Refunds (digital services only)

• Because the service is digital and delivered online, there is no return of physical goods.
• You may request a refund within 7 days of a successful premium payment if you have not substantially used premium-only features (for example, aptitude assessment completion, premium recommendations generation, AI Mentor, or Job Explorer).
• After substantial use of premium features, or after 7 days from payment (whichever is earlier), fees are generally non-refundable.
• Duplicate or failed payments that were charged in error will be refunded after verification.
• Approved refunds are typically processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to the payment provider’s timelines.

To request a refund or raise a billing grievance, email hello@pudhekai.com with your registered email and payment reference.

• Do not misuse the Platform, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or interfere with service integrity.
• Do not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or to harass others.
• Do not misrepresent assessment results or share another person’s account without permission.
• AI outputs and reports are for personal educational use; do not republish them as official certifications.

The Platform’s branding, software, question banks, designs, and content are owned by PUDHEKAI MENTORS or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Platform for personal career-discovery purposes. You retain rights in the personal information and assessment answers you submit; you grant us a licence to process them to provide the services.

Assessments and AI recommendations are probabilistic and informational. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by Indian law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PUDHEKAI MENTORS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you (or your family) make based on Platform content. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a paid subscription is limited to the fees you paid for that subscription in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify PUDHEKAI MENTORS and its representatives against claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to protect users and the Platform. You may request account closure by contacting us; data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that cannot be waived.

For complaints about the Platform or these Terms, contact our Grievance Officer. We aim to acknowledge and address grievances within a reasonable period (and, where applicable law sets timelines, within those timelines).
